My how time flies, it is already time for the 134th Preakness! The Preakness Stakes are the second part of the Triple Crown. It is similar to the Kentucky Derby, in that it is a race of 3-year-old thoroughbred horses. It is held annually on the third Saturday in May, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Are you and your child ready for the "Run for the Black-Eyed Susans"? The race is named this because the winner of the race traditionally gets a wreath of Black-Eyed Susans, Maryland's state flower, placed around its neck. Whether you will be out at the Pimlico Race Course or celebrating at home, you may be looking for something fun for you and your child to do.
