Don't summon me to your big dubious world
Let me live on the warmth of my mommy
It's rather early...
Let me live on the warmth of my mommy
It's rather early...
I am still young to skate on thin fragile ice
I am still young to play mature masquerades
I am still a vulnerable wannabe
I don't want to pose and fake
I don't want to let go my innocence
I don't want to part with my babyhood
For time is like sand, precious and cherished
We can never step on the same moment twice
And it's rather too early...

Post a CommentA lovely and heart warming poem.:)
Aww...very sweet!
So sweet. Thank you very much
Wow I agree with Mike (whoever he may be :) ) hmmm so many Mikes around here lol - very nice poem
So TRUE, there's no rush for you or anyone to "grow up" so to speak (as you are very mature) and what I mean is that there is no reason to give into societal pressure. Cherish the moment that God gave you because each new step in life will come soon enough. I hope that makes sense, I think you know what I mean. This is a really great piece of work; I liked it very much.
Excellent !!
The sentiment that innocence is lost too early hit me. Very powerful words here. Very true!!
