Precious Songbird
Precious songbird, soaring high,
We pray for you as we look to the sky.
How we miss your beautiful, smiling face;
Your youthful glow and striking grace.
We can still hear your melodic voice -
A sound that made everyone rejoice.
Your life has been a gift to us all,
And although to Heaven, you have been called,
We give thanks for all that you left behind -
The memories of so many special times.
There's no doubt we'll see you once again;
We will celebrate your life until then.
