I can almost touch the dream wisps
of what it is I want and need.
I can just barely see
the silhouette
but can't seem to focus,
to grasp.
I can feel it in my heart
though I can't breathe a word of it
I can't quite place
the taste of it
on my tongue
but I can feel it there
urging me to speak it
urging me to finally realize it
and to make it so.
There's something here.
An independence
a greatness
shy but desperate
a filthy rich potential
too often apathy struck.
