"Predators" Movie Scheduled for Premiere on July 9, 2010

The "Predator" movie franchise has come a long way since 1987 when Arnold Schwarzenegger barely survived an alien beast that tried to kill him and all his friends. Nowadays, Arnold is the California governor dealing with an economic budget deficit beast that is a predator of a different variety.

Fast forward to the year 2010 and a whole new generation of moviegoers is ready for the alien Predator to wreak havoc on the human race. In the "Predators" (2010) movie, a mercenary and other bad humans are brought to a planet for the thrill and sport of the alien Predators, according to Wikipedia.

Presented and produced by successful producer Robert Rodriguez, the "Predators" movie is directed by Nimrod Antal. The stars in the movie are Laurence Fishburne, Topher Grace, Adrien Brody and Alice Braga. Image these fine actors running for their lives on a foreign rock and you get the picture of how entertaining this film may turn out to be.

This "Predators" movie seems a bit different from the 1987 original, in that the predators this time are really the humans who were some crazy killer sociopaths back on their home planet. Now these human predators have become the hunted and it will be fun to see how long they last and which ones will die.

If this "Predators" film becomes a summer blockbuster in 2010, you can bet that come Halloween there will be plenty of kids who will want to dress up as the "Predator" monster for Halloween night so they can scare everyone in sight.
