Predators Reboot, Adrien Brody Set to Star
In an odd turn of events, Adrien Brody and his agents lobbied hard for the role in Predators. Why would such a big name actor want a role in the action movie so badly? Is he just a big fan of the original series? Did he just want to work with Rodriguez?
Like the original Predator, the reboot is about a group of elite soldiers who are hunted by merciless aliens known as Predators.
Brody will be playing the main alien killer in Predators. He will play a heroic mercenary who battles the predator aliens. He will be joined by Alice Braga and Danny Trejo, among others.
Predators begins production soon on location in Hawaii and at Rodgriquez's Troublemaker Studios in Austin. It is set to open in theaters nationwide on July, 9, 2010.
