When you reach your 35 - 36 week of pregnancy you should pack your hospital bag.
What to bring to the hospital
A comfortable outfit for mom to wear home from the hospital.
Slippers (unless you want to wear hospital socks)
Pillows ( hospital pillows go flat quickly.)
Chap stick ( your lips are going to get very dry and chapped and rough when in labor for a few hours.)
Make sure you bring your own
Shampoo
Conditioner
Body Soap
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
A camera or Camcorder to Document this special event
A phone list of everyone to call once your newborn arrives
A calling card or cell phone to make any long distance phone calls
Some Change (possible a few dollars worth for dad-to-be or partner in case they need some snacks)
A list for Baby
A going home outfit for baby
A heavy blanket or receiving blanket depending on what time of the year your baby is born
A snowsuit also depending on the time of the year
If choosing to use a binkie make sure that you have an extra
Depending on how far you have to travel home
A diaper bag with at least
4 Diapers
Baby wipes
Some extra bottles/ Formula
You should also make sure you have a car seat
Some things you should already have at home:
At least 10 onesies
At least 10 sleepers
At least 3 receiving blankets
Diapers and Wipes
Along with formula if your not breastfeeding
Bottles
