Pregnant Missing Woman in North Canton, Ohio

A true mystery is brewing in North Canton, Ohio. According to FoxNews.com 26 year old Jessie Davis is missing. According to the report Jessie was last heard from on Wednesday when she spoke with her mother Patty Porter via cell phone.

On Sunday when she was unable to reach her daughter she traveled to the home that Jessie shares with her 2 year old son. Upon arriving Ms. Porter found her grandson alone in the home. FoxNews.com is reporting that Patty Porter asked her grandson where his mother was to which he responded "Mommy broke the table, and Mommy's in the rug."

Authorities were called to the home and an investigation began. North Canton Police officers have said according to FoxNews.com that the home had no visible signs of forced entry. At this time officials are saying that Jessie Davis' cell phone, comforter, and sheets from her bed are missing. Other items such as her purse and car were still at the home.

FoxNews asked Patty Porter about the condition of the home when she arrived and she is quoted as saying "The mattress was partially off the bed and the nightstand was knocked over and the lamp was knocked over and somebody had poured bleach all over the floor."

The need to find Jessie Davis is indeed an important one. She is 9 months pregnant and set to give birth any day now. The statements made by her 2 year old son, definitely have family, friends, and authorities wondering what happened in the normally quiet neighborhood.

The FoxNews.com report also states that Jessie's sister Jane said there is no way that her sister would have left her son without something being wrong. Jane describes Jessie as "... the greatest, greatest mother, and he is her whole life, and she would never ever have left him there by himself, even for a minute."

In the process of looking for leads in the case North Canton authorities of course questioned Jessie Davis' son and also her unborn child's father who himself is a police officer, as well as his wife. Police are saying that neither is a suspect in this case.
