Preparations to Writing!

I will usually have with me my writing pad and pen

They are beside me wherever I go

I try so hard to be creative

Thinking of new ideas

Not knowing when these will flow

I try to be innovative

Yesterday was an exception

When I arrived at my place of employ

My pen was alongside me as always

Still at home was my writing pad

So that day none of my words was I able to deploy

I had ahead of me a boring day

No writing, I was so sad

What could I do?

This morning as I left for work

I doubly assured myself, all was there I could see

Ready for me to write down an idea or two!

    I keep my notepad at home, in fact, on my computer. If I get an idea on the road, well, that's what scrap paper is for. Each to his own, I guess.

    I carry a note pad and paper with me if I go somewhere... I keep a note pad in at my desk also.

    I can relate to this. Sometimes, if I don't write down my thoughts, I lose them.
