They are beside me wherever I go
I try so hard to be creative
Thinking of new ideas
Not knowing when these will flow
I try to be innovative
Yesterday was an exception
When I arrived at my place of employ
My pen was alongside me as always
Still at home was my writing pad
So that day none of my words was I able to deploy
I had ahead of me a boring day
No writing, I was so sad
What could I do?
This morning as I left for work
I doubly assured myself, all was there I could see

I keep my notepad at home, in fact, on my computer. If I get an idea on the road, well, that's what scrap paper is for. Each to his own, I guess.
No notepad is like a day without sunshine :(
I carry a note pad and paper with me if I go somewhere... I keep a note pad in at my desk also.
I carry mine with me too. Hey, you never know when you may have an "idiot sighting". LOL
Pad and pen are really good friends to have along.
You need to get a write pad to leave at your job! Nicely done!
I can relate to this. Sometimes, if I don't write down my thoughts, I lose them.
