Fine Motor Activity for Preschool Lesson Plan: Bears
Stringing: Give your preschools students black beads on which you have placed a piece of tape marked with either the letter b, e, a or r. Give them a length of black yarn and have them string the beads on the yarn, if possible in the order of b-e-a-r. This activity not only develops preschool students' fine motor skills, but also enhances their literacy skills.

Finger painting with pudding: Give each of your students a large bear cut out of white paper. Let them finger paint the bear cut out with chocolate pudding.

Pre-math Center Activity for Preschool Lesson Plan: Bears
Set out the letters b-e-a-r that you have previously cut from felt or laminated construction paper. Put out an example of the word bear for your students to use as a guide. Have them set out the letters, properly spelling the word bear. Instruct your preschool students to count the number of letters in the word bear. Now have your preschool students count out 4 brown bear shapes to set beneath the 4 lettered word.
Pre-writing Center Activities for Preschool Lesson Plan: Bears
For younger students, provide sheets of paper with the letters B and b lightly printed on them. Have the children trace the letters. Do the same with the number 4.
For older students, provide an example of the letters B and b and the number 4. Have the students practice writing the letters and number freehand.
Write the word bear on your preschool classroom's white erase board. Let your students copy the word bear on the white board with brown dry erase markers.
