Gross Motor Activity for Preschool Lesson Plan: Doctor
Exercise: Doctors recommend exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle. Put on a toy stethoscope and lead your preschool students in jumping jacks, running in place, toe touches, etc. Let your students take turns wearing the stethoscope and leading their peers in some exercises.
Art Center Activity for Preschool Lesson Plan: Doctor
Stethoscopes: Have your preschool students make stethoscopes. Give each student a poster board cut out of a circle, a matching circle of aluminum foil and a piece of black yarn. Have your students glue the foil to the poster board. Punch a hole through this and then let your students string the yarn through the hole.

Pre-math Center Activity for Preschool Lesson Plan: Doctor
Set out the letters d-o-c-t-o-r that you have previously cut from felt or laminated construction paper. Put out an example of the word doctor for your students to use as a guide. Have them set out the letters, properly spelling the word doctor. Instruct your preschool students to count the number of letters in the word doctor. Now have your preschool students count out 6 stethoscope shapes to set beneath the 6 lettered word.
Pre-writing Center Activities for Preschool Lesson Plan: Doctor
For younger students, provide sheets of paper with the letters D and d lightly printed on them. Have the children trace the letters. Do the same with the number 6.
For older students, provide an example of the letters D and d and the number 6. Have the students practice writing the letters and number freehand.
Write the word doctor on your preschool classroom's white erase board. Let your students copy the word doctor on the white board with dry erase markers.
