The tree's bulbs reflect back tinted, funny mirror snapshots:
Red and green sugar sprinkled wide, some hitting cookied dough.
Wrapping gifts in newspaper topped with last year's bows.
The blast of heat as she checks and rechecks the turkey.
Singing Jingle Bells at top volume in the car.
Our kids in fuzzy, footed pajamas running to the the tree to check out
all the gifts left there.
