But Obama is not concerned with the Automotive industry, or American automotive history, he's concerned with making himself look good to his other democrat buddies, yeah it's time for a change, it's time to get Obama out of office.
He has given 55% of Chrysler motor company to the UAW, a horrible conflict of interest, not to mention a conflict of ethics, but there again this was done to please the other democrats on the hill, not to help Chrysler, it all done to make Obama look good.
Obama's cafe standards will pretty much put an end to the automotive industry in genreal, but he doesn't care, it's all a ploy to keep him in office.
With these new standards cars could go up in price as much as $1,200, how does that sound to you, yeah he may not raise your taxes, but he will with out a doubt raise prices on everything else, just look at how quick gas prices are rising again, not to mention food prices.
We've all seen the governments track record with running big business, and now they own controlling interest in General Motors, it's just not right, the government was never supposed to take over the private sector, he should have given them a loan, then got out.
Obama also has plans to get rid of classic American cars on the roads, now this has bee tried before, and it didn't pass then, but with the love affair that a lot of people seem to have with Obama, he could push it through, all he's got to say is that he thinks they should be gone.
Obama wants to push all cars to 35 MPG by 2016, and this requires the automotive industry to spend a lot of money that they don't have, they can't just print money out of thin air like Obama does, and this could drive them out of business.
As Americans we love our cars, and matter what any president says they can't force us to drive cars that we don't want to drive, it's time to speak up, it's time to be an American, pretty soon you won't have any choice but to drive a little tuna can, a death trap, a killer car.
Under Obam's plan more Americans would die every year, due to injuries suffered in car accidents, it a god's honest fact, the smaller you make a car, the less safe it is, but Obama doesn't care about that, he's just bloating his own self worth.

Post a CommentI am a proud American. My dad was a vet and fought for this country and our Constitution. It is our freedom granted by that piece of paper that allows me to decide what and how I drive. Not our president. Or some other 3rd world country or dictator. There is no oil shortage, it's all propaganda. I own a 68 Charger and a '95 Hummer H1 and I will drive them both till the wheels fall off. If you don't like that, then move out of MY Good Old USA !
You people in here "for" obama are ignorant. You probably have been driving an import your whole life and dont know what its like to drive a Muscle car or classic!
ya screw that guy he dont own a muscle car and probabley cant afford one
Bunch of secular progessive's that don't have concern past their own feel good feelings. F*ck the muscle car era. They are gas guzzling, hot , antiques that need to be rounded up and turned into trash cans! New is better period.
It's sad that you, like many of your ignorant peers continue to blame President Obama for the woes of our country that began long before his taking office and will continue as long as ignorant persons, such as yourself, refuse to take the blame for the mess you made of this country and our world. Fuel does not drop out of the sky like rain nor does it exist plentiful in the USA. It has not for decades, now. It's obvious that you do not give a shi*&^! about what type of world is left for our children. Therefore, I suggest that you make plans to move your "I don't give a damn" attitude to the new I don't give a fuc!*&$ island right smack in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We'd all be the better for your exodus.
I completley agree with everything said here and as Americans we need to speak up to defend our rights to drive our cars as we see fit.
For the first thing I realize that it doesn't affect my classic cars, but if you'd read a bit you'd realize that Obama wants to take you're classic cars off of the road also.
As an American this idiot cannot tell me what to do, I will do as I please as far as cars go.
Obama is quite simply not an American at all.
