President Obama - the Most Dangerous United States President?

Dusti Sparks-Myers
The current President, Barack Obama, may be the most dangerous President ever to reside in the White House. Promising hope and change, this lowest rated President has instead created an atmosphere of distrust, fear, and anger amongst many US citizens. What will he do when his popularity bottoms out at zero?

His policies regarding terrorism, healthcare, cap and trade taxes, immigration, and more all have flown in the face of the American public that have openly rejected these policies. Despite warnings that these policies were not wanted, needed, nor required, the President effectively shoved them down the throats of American citizens.

How many have ever seen such large numbers of either party actively distance themselves from their own party President as the Democrats have done against Obama and the laws and polices he has introduced into our society, including those who had voted for those same policies? How long before the citizens actually rise up to riot instead of conducting peaceful protests against his actions?

How many American people believe the 'war on terrorism' is over? How many actually feel safe now that terrorism (now renamed as 'man-made disasters'), no longer exists only via his statements? Very few, I would think and, in fact, terrorism within our borders continues with examples such as Major Nidal Malik Hasan, Anwar al-Awlaki, and the Christmas Bomber terrorist, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

True, some may be "American Made" or homegrown terrorists; however, they are terrorists associated with al-Qaida through a variety of ties and connections, nonetheless. Yet, President Obama would have us believe these are "isolated extremists", a serious misnomer since the facts instead point to these men being "jihadists". In fact, he considers these terrorists to be 'defendants' in our Courts of Law with all the rights afforded to American citizens, instead of enemies and war criminals against our country.

The term "czar" is not a new word to the American political scene, going back to when the late President Reagan referred to the appointment of a 'drug czar'. However, the sudden prolific use of the term "czar" for the 30 plus positions that now exists in the Obama administration, one that is rife with his political advisors that appear to espouse Marxism and socialism, connotes a new perspective as to what direction Obama is trying to take the United States. This, along with the apparent need of this president to 'distribute the wealth' earned by individuals and companies, connotes an extreme transformation of government that was unforeseen by those who wanted change. I am certain the citizens of the United States had no plans to exchange a constitutional democracy for one of socialism.

President Obama's stance on international diplomacy also brings into question as to what exactly he is trying to do. Saying he would meet with anyone, including those like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and others of his ilk without any preconditions, only gives legitimacy to countries that promote, train, and pay individuals and groups to create terror throughout the world. Meanwhile, he spends a great deal of time apologizing to these terror states for their perceived slights and faults by the United States against them, and decrying Israel's right to build new homes in an area that belongs to them.

Is he really that naïve and clueless? Is it really a combination of ignorance, stupidity, and inexperience that gives the impression that Obama is completely disconnected from his own country? What other skills did he have beyond an egotistical and narcisstic yet charismatic personality that allowed him to win the office of President? Will Obama, as President of the United States, welcome change to our National currency if it depicts his picture and "In Obama We Trust" emblazoned across the top? I would not be surprised if he already has that plan in the works.

Or, is it more likely, considering who he has surrounded himself with, that President Obama really believes he is sly and cunning enough to attempt to usurp the power and standing of the United States for yet unknown agendas of his own? Noting that he often states his beliefs via his own form of double-speak, President Obama never gives a clear answer to any of the problems that now face the citizens of this country, even when directly questioned.

There is little doubt by many that President Obama will be nothing more than a one-term president and will leave a legacy of major national debt that will handicap generations of future citizens, a colossal loss of jobs, and a complete failure to work for the people he had sworn to serve. He has shown that he has little ability to lead this nation forward when his current policies encompass tearing apart the United States, while making us into a nation that cowers before terrorism, bows to third world countries, and takes away everything that makes this nation great.
