President Obama Preparing for Pennsylvania Victory Push

Pennsylvania Will Not Go Republican in November Democrats Are on the March

Stephen C. Rose
President Obama will be a happy man Nov. 3. President Obama will help folk like Joe Sestak go to the Senate. President Obama is underestimated by the media. But here as predicted is the help Sestak story.

CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - Obama going to bat for Sestak - Blogs from CNN.com: "Sestak needs as much help as he can get right now because recent polls show him trailing Republican nominee Pat Toomey, though a significant portion of the Pennsylvania electorate appears to still be undecided.

A recent poll by Ipsos/Reuters poll found Toomey up double digits, 47 percent to 37 percent, with 15 percent undecided. Meanwhile, a Franklin and Marshall College poll found Toomey leading 40 percent to 31 percent, but there was a whopping 26 percent undecided."

The untold story is that the folk who voted for Obama will vote for Toomey when they see what is at stake and that is enough to make mincemeat of these poll numbers.

Here is what I wrote a few days ago:

"The GOP's 2010 Waterloo will be the steady deflation of the meme out there now. Republican enthusiasm will fade as there is a realization of the actual consequences of Republican victory. The behavior of the GOP when Congress reconvenes will remind voters of the party of NO. And President Obama will unfurl the full force of his political form a la 2008. The upshot will be that Mr. Toomey's lead will gradually evaporate between now and November." READ MORE
