President Obama's 6 Billion Dollar Proposal and Merger of NASA Space Exploration

American Space exploration cannot move on into the future without a much needed facelift, it is essential for this to happen in order for the U.S. to remain the top dog in the space race. President Obama makes a bold move to open up the doors for entrepreneurs, engineers, scientist, NASA technicians, and private owned space explorers to revamp the NASA program in order to move forward to push the envelope concerning why it is important to develop new technology for space exploration.

President Obama visit to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Thursday April 15^th has a proposed bill that would give NASA 6 billion over 5 years that would bolster the space exploration program two fold.

The layoffs that will affect NASA employees do not fall under the current administration, the projection of these job cuts were in the making nearly two years ago, which in turn were for the 2010-2011 year. The private-sector and commercial space industries welcome President Obama's plan for the further development of U.S. space exploration. The United States does not have a capable and reliable escape pod for the International Space Station.

Even though the American economy is in shambles - the citizens of America need to remember what the space race means to our nation. Is our nation willing scrap the old NASA space program and forget about space exploration, or should the space race be a friendly relationship where all parties involved will benefit from President Obama's 6 billion dollar proposal?
