If you pick up a smaller bottle, it includes a ice scarper on the top of the can to help scrap away ice from the windows. You may want to buy an additional ice scraper just in case the one on the bottle breaks off. If you have an empty spray bottle around the house, you can test out this product by buying the big bottle and filling the bottle with it. Along with the bottle, you can fill the windshield washer container. Make sure the spray bottle's toggle hose and bottle are fully cleaned out before using for the De-Icer product.
For the past week this product was used on the windshield window through the wipers and sprayed on the windows. The temperature outside was around 28-36 degrees Fahrenheit. With no effort, the thin frost/ice stuck onto the windows easily was wiped off with the wipers. Once the vehicle was warmed up, the windows melted with no ice scraping needed. This product also helped prevent refreezing from happening in cold weather. It's inexpensive at $2.50 for the big bottle container. The price will vary depending on where you shop. I would recommend checking out this product to help de-ice and keep winter driving safe.
