Gigi's first captured my attention when I discovered that they use the finest ingredients such as Saigon Cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla, farm fresh creamy butter, hand selected fruits and nuts, along with the smoothest cream cheese.

Gigi's impressed me even more when I learned that the owner learned her craft watching her mother and grandmother make baked goods when she was growing up. There's nothing like old fashioned baking mixed with modern flair.

However, the final, overwhelming, mind blowing moment for me and Gigi's came when I saw my first assorted box of cupcakes. My friends and I had to cut each beautiful, tantalizing cupcake into four sections so that we could enjoy every sample in the colorful green and pink box.

Above all the rest, Gigi's cupcakes are by far the prettiest. As you can see from their photographs, Gigi's takes pride in presentation. Combine the highest quality ingredients with gourmet presentation, and you have one incredible cupcake resource.

JJ's Top Treats:

Samoa Cupcake: an ode to the girl scouts, and a supporter as a portion of the proceeds go to support local troops, this is a caramel cupcake, filled with chocolate ganache, frosted with caramel buttercream, sprinkled with toasted coconut, drizzled with chocolate and topped with a Samoa cookie.

Pink Lemonade Cupcake: here we have a Pink Lemonade cupcake with just the right amount of lemon zing, frosted with Pink Lemonade icing, sprinkled with pink sanding sugar, topped with a lemon jelly slice and a straw.

Pina Colada: White cake infused with coconut and pineapple, frosted with a pineapple buttercream, dressed up with a marachino cherry and topped with cocktail umbrella.

Flower Power Cupcake: white cake topped with Vanilla Buttercream and stylishly decorated as a spring flower.
