If you are like me, you have tried numerous ways to ward off those pesky creatures. I've tried eating certain foods and avoiding others just to keep the biting brigade from dining on me. Dietary changes for me have not greatly improved my odds of becoming lunch for insects.
I have tried lotions and potions to keep the insects away. Like me, surely, you have tried lotions such as Skin So Soft from Avon to keep the bugs away. Some people are allergic to this lotion and others find the odor to be as repulsive as the mosquitoes and bugs.
You may have even attempted to use products like OFF bug repellent. Such bug sprays can cause concern due to the chemicals. It is time to try a new approach.
The next time you are out planting in the garden, grilling on the barbecue, or playing at the family picnic, bring along a small bottle of Listerine. No, this isn't to swish after you dine on dinner. The Listerine is used to keep the bugs from dining on you.
Pour the Listerine into a spray bottle. Sprits the Listerine generously around your seat at the picnic. Douse the perimeter of your deck or patio with Listerine to ward off mosquitoes and other pests. You may even want to shower the areas where kids will be playing. Sprits the tire swing and the tree house to keep the bugs away from your little ones.
Because you spray the Listerine on the surfaces around you, there is no need to be concerned about harsh chemicals and pesticides. The Listerine need not touch your skin at all.
Listerine is an item that can be purchased at your local drug store or Wal-Mart. It can be found in many households. There is no need to head out to the store when the bugs begin to bite. Just make a quick trip to the medicine chest and grab the Listerine.
The Listerine product is not only safe, but it is reasonably priced. There are no harsh chemicals to worry about. Using Listerine to get rid of the bugs is quick, easy, and effective.
