Ways to prevent chronic disease with raw food are virtually endless. I suppose disease of one sort or another will prevail in the end, however, so much of the prevelant chronic diseases like heart disease, cancer, and diabetes that plague us nationwide are every bit preventable if we make good food choices and avoid the junk. Raw food can help.

Raw Juice

If you're looking for potent food that actually does things, look no more. Raw juice is among the best foods to use for medicinal purposes. Not only can you avoid and prevent disease with raw juice, you can progressively improve many unhealthy circumstances like heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis with some good raw veggie, fruit, or perhaps both juice. Much of the reason for that is the fact that raw juice, once drank quickly makes it into the cell where it can heal and change things in a positive way all within 15-20 minutes of drinking it. It also has all of it's nutrients in tact with lots of mineral content and all of it is very bioavailable because of the liquefied form it's in.

Raw Blended Drinks

Who has a hard time drinking luscious smoothies made with raw frozen fruit? Instead of ending a meal with a dessert that's loaded with simple carbs that bolt right into the blood stream, why not top off dinner with a tasty raw smoothie already packed with nutrients by nature? The recipes are endless but basically anything that has some banana included will thicken up the smoothie once it's blended. If you'd like it even thicker, add some raw flax meal while it's mixing in the blender.

A nice easy one for starters is frozen banana and strawberries. Just use equal parts of each fruit, around 4oz. and top it off with some apple and orange juice. You will quickly find yourself with an incredibly healthy drink that is also very bioavailable due to being blended and liquified. Your cell regeneration will begin within minutes of drinking this concoction leaving you with an inner healthy environment.

Raw Nuts and Seeds

Raw nuts and seeds are among some of the most healthy ways to maintain and promote vibrant health. They have some healthy whole oils and fiber within them that are helpful for improving heart disease and are versatile in their preparation with many raw food recipes that include nuts and seeds.

One of the easiest things you can do is create a healthy raw non-dairy nut milk from nuts. Almonds, walnuts, or sunflower seeds area great place to start. Begin by soaking your nuts overnight, then blending them on high speed in the blender. Sift the pulp out with a cheesecloth or strainer and use it for a raw nut cheese by adding some onion and garlic. Then chill and serve with whole grain crackers.
