As life goes on there are so many new things pulling us in different directions such as technology, new businesses and products. Moreover, the tasks in your jobs as new ideas are invented becomes more tedious. In addition, your lunch breaks seems to get shorter or at certain times ignored when you have to continually work on new projects to gain money for your boss. It is during these times when our needs are put on the back burner. While our needs are put aside we tend to make up for the loss with anything convenient such as fast, tasty,and partially healthy foods. Meaning, we eat our apples with sugary caramel dip, and our vegetables fried or with spicy dressings.

Our taste buds are not what it used to be before becoming corrupted with unnatural food. I wonder if we can remember what bland actually tastes like. Then, after a time of over doing our comfort food to get us through the work day with ease we are weakened by the existence of a disease. We stress our doctors out with all our problems, and end up not always getting the best treatment. Lately, there has been numerous new prescription drugs to help sustain us with various ailments. Notice, I said 'sustain' us with our disease. Don't totally blame yourself entirely for the disease. After all, what's in the food anyway that can be fatal to our health, and why is it on the market when it is dangerous?

That is a good question to ask, and I will tell you what others have found. The typical high starch, sugar, fried, and food full of LDL bad cholesterol fat are culprits leading to many diseases. That explanation just puts the blame on your inability to control your appetite. Currently, there has been another study that puts the blame on the people who make the food. If you read the labels on foods you eat often you might find the fourth ingredient of salt, partially or fully hydrogenated oils, sugar, dextrose, fructose or sucrose.

Sucrose, dextrose, fructose and sugar are all the same sweet flavor enhancing demons that can clog your system, rot out your teeth and give you an unwanted present of disease. The partially hydrogenated oils was discussed on an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show with Dr. Rosen and Dr. Mimet Oz as being a
thick oily pasty substance that doesn't come from actual food. Yes Panic! Ask yourself.."WHAT Is going on Here"! There is hope through organic foods, but you have to research the reviews to avoid chemical like flavors in some items.

You can also go to www.hungrygirl.com for interesting twists on your fast food favorites. Meaning, make those items yourself instead of eating out a lot. Look at is this way, if you eat junk food for temporary energy to get you through the day job you love to hate why not try healthy eating to sustain your energy. Comfort foods do help you feel better for awhile, then it turns on your entire immune system affecting your memory, your heart, your head, and your body. There are things you cannot help like freak accidents that may or may not take your life. However, you can control the foods you consume by buying organic and preparing food for the week on Sundays to practice good eating habits that will affect the life you live now.
