Preview of the 2008 Land Cruiser from Toyota

If you have not had the opportunity to check out the new 2008 land cruiser you really should take the time to do so. To start off with the base price for the land cruiser is starting at $63,200. That is definitely a lot of money to shell out for a new vehicle, but the 2008 land cruiser has a lot of options and features that really make it seem worth it. It has a 5.7 liter DOHC 32-valve EFI V8 with dual independent VVT-I engine, Toyota Direct Ignition, 6 Speed transmission. The body construction is absolutely beautiful but I am not sure that the looks or the engine will justify the high price. It also has front and rear towing hooks than could come in handy when you are ready to travel, so that makes it a good family car. When it comes to the suspension it has independent double wishbone front suspension with coil springs and a stabilizer bar. When it comes to the exterior it has the usual integrated fog lamps, and color coordinated bumpers, and of course mudguards.

One thing that I really did like about the 2008 Land Cruiser was the green tinted glass with the UV reduction. Of course the interior features are very nice. They have a leather wrapped steering while, integrated audio and multifunction display controls. In addition they also have a voice activated navigation and Bluetooth controls that really make this vehicle stand out from the rest. The 2008 Land Cruiser is really very nice when you take a look at the inside of the vehicle. Another great feature is the navigation system with the back up camera. Another great feature for families is the fact that it has a reclining leather trimmed fold down second row sliding bench seat. This land cruiser seem to be very similar to the other land cruisers except it has a new upgraded look and a lot more standard features. It really looks as if it would make a great family car. The only problem would be the price, which some families may find a little bit on the high side. Especially when there are other options currently on the market that have similar features but cost much less. When it comes to being able to drive through dirt and bad road conditions the 2008 Land Cruiser definitely comes out on top. It is easy to handle over the roughest roads. It is much longer and wider than the older models which is definitely a huge plus. The four wheel traction control will also make this a great car for driving on icy roads during the winter time. So if you are considering buying the new 2008 Land Cruiser think about some of the things mentioned in this article when you go for your test drive.
