1. 2011 Ford Focus: The 2011 Ford Focus is being described as one of the most economical cars for 2011 according to The Automobile Magazine. The Focus SVT Hatchback Coupe is designed to compete with Honda's new Civic Si as one of the higher performance coupes. It's not a slow car by any means. All models comes with 2.OLSOHC engines or 2.OL 16VDOHC Zetec engines. Gas mileage for the new 2011 Ford Focus is estimated at 26mpg city driving and 34mpg highway driving.
2. 2011 Ford Edge: The 2011 Ford Edge gets some refreshed styling. It gets some teeth for 2011 in the forum of a 3.7 liter V6 that produces 305hp and 280lb.-ft. and a paddle-shift 6 speed automatic transmission. Other Edge improvement features include a quieter, more refined cabin and the My Touch system, which reduces buttons by using workflow oriented LCD screens and cell-phone-inspired steering wheel controls.
3. 2011 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG: This car is being described as Mercedes new supercar, designed for the individual who demands the best in his automobile. It draws its styling from the 300 SL 1950, right down to the gullwing doors. It's powered by a new more powerful than ever version of AMG's 6.2 liter V8. It puts out 563 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque. The transmission is a seven speed twin-clutch automatic mounted in the rear of the car. It has a MSPR of $55,400+.
4. 2011 Hyundai Sonata: This Hyundai is designed more like an entry-level luxury car than a plain vanilla sedan, yet will still be $1500 to $2500 less than a comparably equipped Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, or Honda Accord with a MSRP of $19,915 to 28,115. The EPA fuel economy estimates 22-24mpg city, and 35mpg highway driving. The shapely new Sonata styling is a sharp contrast to the conservative styling of the previous generation. The base engine is a 198 horsepower direct-injected 2.4 liter four cylinder engine.
5. 2011 Buick Regal: The 2011 Buick Regal is a rebadge version of GM's European-Market Opel Insigma. The base model of Buick's new mid-size sedan will be powered by a 182 horsepower 2.4 liter direct-injected engine with a 6 speed automatic transmission. Buick will offer an optimal 220 horsepower 2 liter turbo charged engine with an available 6 speed manual transmission.
