PRICELESS in GOD'S EYES

Kathryn Neff Perry
Oswald Chambers once wrote, "Let everything else go, but maintain that at all costs, and God will fulfill His purpose through your life. One individual life may be of priceless value to God's purposes, and yours may be that life."
When I read that, I thought "Wow".
Imagine thinking your life is "priceless" in God's eyes. There are days I know thinking or feeling that I was "priceless" to anyone, let alone The Lord, I would have felt a little differently.
Most days I think lots of us feel "beat down." Whether it is unemployment, relationship issues, a failing marriage, or health issues, it just seems there is always something to deal with. It doesn't take long to feel hopeless, and sometimes helpless.
But when I remember Joshua 1:5, I will never leave you nor forsake you, it gives me hope.
One of my friends asked me just the other day, "do you think the Lord really hears my prayers? I feel so alone." I reminded her to take a look around. She was surrounded by friends.
"Of course God hears your prayers. We're all here with you."
She smiled at the revelation.
Take a look around and then look in the mirror. You are the "one life that is priceless in God's eyes".

Nice reminder. The enemy wants us to forget that.
