PrimeTime, the "Pummeling-Pastor," Issues a Challenge to the NOVA All-Stars!

On 12 Jan 08, PT showed up to play the Nova Squad, and ended up playing the second game of makeshift Nova players (exhibition fun), which many say, was marred by lackluster play from the Novafflians, as well as an onslaught of Ohio Drive scrubs.

How long have you been playing in the Ferg league?

Since it began Summer of 06

What roles and responsibilities do you have in the Ferg league?

I ref occationally but more so just win championships

Describe the teams and history in the JoeFerg league and whether you were a part of any championship teams:

The teams have gotten better every year. This past season being the best and most competitive. I currently have 2 championships under my belt.the opening season and latest season.

What position do you excel at and how does that match up with other flag football players?

I've played QB WR LB DB O and D Line(I most excel on Defensebecause of my speed and knowledge of the game) I would easily make the flag football 50 greatest players list...

Explain what happened on 12 Jan 08 and why you did not play in the first game against the Nova allstars?

Simple-Jferg hand picked his squad and none but one of the championship players were on it. Trust me those were not the allstars..good but not the allstars

In your opinion, what was the reason the Novas beat the Ferg allstars?

Bad decisions late in the game..they actually had you guys beat and just chocked in the end

If you were to create a best of Ferg team, what players would you put on the roster?

Can you describe what role Bigron plays in the Ferg league and whether or not his mouth detracts from the game?

Ron is Ron..yeah he has a mouth but lots of hard competitors do. Him and TO both need to work on not getting so hyped up it cost them that's all. He was also on that first season championship team.

Were there any Nova players who impressed you, with their playing?

Grove..all day..he was the difference. The first qb was decent as well. Nobody stood out to me but nobody sucked either from what I could see

Will you consider putting a team in Novaffl for Season IV, Late March early April? If not, why not. If so, what was the defining factor, or what will be the defining factor?

Possible. Kind of a hike from Bowie MD to VA but, I wouldn't rule it out.

Do you prefer playing offense or defense? Explain how you were able to achieve 5 sacks this past Saturday, and whether this is a regular occurrence? How do you get around larger linemen?

Defense is my passion... Im a quick solid 180lbs that's not huge but not small either..so using speed strength agility and wit gets you 5 sacks and a pick for a TD for the day.

Do you have any problem with the Ferg rule system, specifically, what did you think of the constant whistle blowing in the second game ? this past Saturday? Are ticky-tack fouls (infractions that don't effect the play commonplace in the Ferg league?)

I have my opinion about certain calls in the past but for the most part you win some you lose most.

Explain what it is about Novaffl rules that you consider whack, and feel needs to be changed?

In-eligible lineman..thats 1 of the reasons I got so many sacks..i didn't have to worry about any blockers releasing. It makes it more competitive when all are eligible. And of course a safety receives NO POINTS...enough said about that one.

Why does Ferg have a profanity monitor on his forums and do you think this is childish since we are all grown-ass men?

Well, Personally I agree with the profanity free zone. As a soon to be Pastor I see no reason to communicate with profanity..to each his own but its unessesary. If you wouldn't want your child repeating it you probably shouldn't say it....

Finally, if you were to rank the top 5 Bums, in both Ferg and Novaffl, what players would get the PrimeTime rotten "Bum-Nomination?"

Cant really judge NOVA-havnt seen enough..But Jfergs bums weren't actually present they represent from the bottom 3 teams of our league

Are you willing to put a team together, and deal directly with Novaffl for a PRIMETIME Allstar game versus the Nova Allstars? If you are successful in winning, what will this do to the entire FergSports configuration? Will you be vaulted as the new Chief, or be forced to start your own league? Explain your answer as to #1 why this needs to happen?

I represent Gods Gift..the current champions.. We are 2-0 verse Nova and 8-2 against the ferg league-if somebody wants to play us we're up for the conversation. I run my own league in Bowie during the fall so I have no interest in being chief of this league-I just want to continue my winning streak (overall record since playing in JFERG 20-8)

Finally, are you going to try and make Whacked NovaBBL (Basketball) on Thursdays and Sundays?
