Prince Charles and the Threefold Mystery of the Mark

Revelation 13:18 NIV This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666.

Several nights ago I tuned into the first TV interview of Great Britain's Prince Charles ever. I really like English culture and I had wanted to see images of the rustic English countryside and to see the Castle of May. I also wanted to hear what this rather eccentric Englishman had to say.

And I was not disappointed; the images I saw were stunning, and the discourse was fascinating. Basically what the soon to be monarch did was to lay out the entire agenda of the post-modern antichrist spirit in its entirety concisely and in nut shell shell for the American people.

The plan is threefold: to heal Mother Earth, to restructure the world economy and to unify the world. This plan may sound fine and dandy, but the problem with it is that it basically means bringing salvation to man and peace
on earth without the sacrificial blood of the Lamb and the person of the Prince of Peace. And this is just not going to work.

Jesus came to redeem us from the curse of the law, and that curse is also threefold. We have the curse on nature which includes afflictions and disease. There is the curse of poverty and the curse of war and violence.

The whole curse of the law is aptly and graphically illustrated in the old Hebrew book of Deuteronomy chapter 38 in the Old Testament of the Bible.

Deu 28-15 and 21 However if you do not obey...I will plague you with diseases.

Deu 28-35 You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little.

Deu 28-25 The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies.

This is the entire curse of the law: disease, poverty, war and violence. And these things are happening in a big way right now to a disobedient and Christ rejecting world.

After turning off the TV and computer, and I was finished with all my media toys, I went to bed. And although I am not good at calculating numbers, I awakened in the middle of the night with an insight into the real and unfortunate meaning of the mark 666, the mark of the beast. The number 666 is the number of a man and thus it is the threefold solution to man's threefold problem of the curse of the law. Since God's plan of salvation has been rejected by most people in this post-modern, tolerant, New Age religious world, man has had to come up with his own solution to the problem of sin and death.

But for God's children, the solutions for sin is in one person: Christ Jesus. And for the children of the world the solution is also in a man, an earthly king. They seem to be looking for a new messiah, and like the children of Israel of old, they are crying out for a king.

But it is Jesus who will save all who will come to Him from the curse of the law. And it is Jesus who was made a curse for us on the tree.

Galatians 3:13 ...For it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the old Messiah. He has done the job, and He is coming soon.
