Prince Harry "Stumbles" into Reporter

Oops! He's Done it Again

Prince Harry has succeeded in getting himself splashed all over the news yet once again. This time it was a supposedly innocent altercation with a paparazzi. The British daily tabloids wait in eager anticipation for these kind of "Royals" stories, and Harry is really filling their coffers.

The British royal family made a statement on Sunday through their spokesperson, who called this latest faux pas, "Just an accident." "On the way out of the nightclub, he stumbled on the curb and fell on the photographer," the spokesperson said, "there was no aggressive intent; they were laughing at it all the time."

But the only problem with that statement is that this accident was caught on a series of photographs that show Harry clearly chasing the paparazzi and then slipping as he lunged at the man scurrying away.

The photographer seen in the pictures, running from Prince Harry told ABC News on Sunday morning that there were no hard feeling about the incident. He said, "No harm done. This sort of thing is part of the game."

Harry is just being true to his natural form. Outside another London nightspot in 2004 Harry had another scuffle with the paparazzi. Majesty magazine editor Ingrid Seward talked to "Good Morning America Weekend Edition, "I think Harry doesn't care. I get that feeling that he really doesn't care. And he loves to drink. And after a few drinks he cares even less. And he loathes the media." She also said that no matter what kind of statement the royal family makes, the photos make it very clear what happened. Harry was chasing the photographer!

Since Princess Diana's death, ten years ago, in the car crash while being chased by paparazzi, Princes William and Harry have had a tumultuous affair with the press. Harry has gotten the dubious distinction of being known as the "royal family wild child", probably because he is just the spare to the heir. Prince William will one day be king.

Ingrid Seward says, "Some people root for him, while some people think it is absolutely disgusting, and that as a royal prince, he shouldn't behave like this. But we quite like his playboy image. We know he's a very brave boy...I just don't think he thinks things through too carefully."

But Harry is ready to show what kind of stock he is made from by serving queen and country in Iraq, on the front lines. This will dispel his 'party prince' persona, once and for all. "There is a very big risk in Iraq and when he goes I hope it's kept very quiet so not many people know that he's there," said Seward

I feel sorry for both Princes Harry & William. This "photographer" stands as a reminder to the one thing they can never get back - their mother. He's lucky Harry wasn't sober enough to give him what he really deserved.
