Poppycock Vs Michael Grimm

Prince Poppycock is on the fast track to becoming $1,000,000 richer as he soared past the other contestants in the first round of semi finalist on America's Got Talent. Prince Poppycock by night and John Quale by day has taken America by storm. Who could have imagined an opera singer in a powdered wig singing the Figaro Ari would have made it to the semi finals on the NBC show America's Got Talent?

John Quale has been singing professionally since the age of eleven, where as a member of the Washington Operas Children Choir he preformed at the Kennedy Center in D.C.

Prince Poppycock made his debut in 2006 when a friend request Quale to perform at the friend's club, but requested Quale wear a wig. Never one to let a friend down, Quale pulled out all the stops and not only donned a wig, but created an outlandish but loveable character that could win him the top prize on AGT.

Prince Poppycock was the last of the forty eight contestants chosen to go into the semi finals. After Poppycock's third time before the judges, Piers Morgan said, "You really are crackers," adding "I look at you as my guilty little pleasure."

The Prince chose Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody for his performance that left the audience standing on their feet and cheering. Sharon Osborn compared the Prince to a male version of Lady Gaga, and then endeared opera signers across the country by telling Poppycock,

"It's nice to see an opera singer that's not fat and sweaty".

America's Got Talent will hold one more round of eliminations paring down the last 24 contestants to fill the remaining five spots for the finals. The five contestants chosen from this round will go on to compete against Prince Poppycock, Michael Grimm, Anna and Patrick, Taylor Mathews, and Christina and Ali.

At this point in time Las Vegas bookmakers are giving Prince Poppycock 5-1 odds at winning. Where does this leave another top favorite Michael Grimm? This contest is going down to the wire in a neck in neck heated contest between Grimm and the Prince. I am willing to bet on one thing; both performers have a wonderful career ahead of them and both will be around for a long time.
