Prince Sued Me
I was sitting by my open window the other day and suddenly I heard the faint sound of music coming from outside. Little did I know I was in big trouble for hearing this obscure sound, I didn't know this but it was someone playing Purple Rain by Prince. This wouldn't be an issue except *GASP* they had illegally downloaded it off the internet. In no time flat I got a knock on the door, when I opened the door I was met by a very large man in a black suit. He handed me a letter which I promptly opened.
The letter went like this:
Dear Sir or Madame,
It has come to our legal team's attention that you are violating copyright laws by listening to unauthorized or an illegally obtained copy of Purple Rain by Prince. You must cease and desist all listening to this song immediately. If you don't comply then we will be forced to take legal action. I don't even care if you are an infant dancing to one of my songs in the background I will sue your sorry ass!
Prince
I was shocked but not surprised since Prince is an evil millionaire who hates poor people. Seriously it's a fact Prince even goes to Ethiopia and eats food in front of poor children and when they ask for help he laughs and sings Purple Rain.
I tried to argue that I had nothing to do with the downloading of the music and was not listening to it; I unlucky enough to be within ear shot of the song. The man in the suit said Prince doesn't stand for music pirates and if I heard the song and didn't pay for it then I am guilty of piracy.
The large man in the black suit left; I was enraged but I soon found that everyone in the apartment complex who heard the music was also hit with the letter. Prince is taking this to far and I thought what is the best way to take on the evil singer! The best way I could think of was mocking him in an article on AC, to try to show him what a moron he is.
I want your comments on what you think of him making Youtube take down the video of 13-month-old Holden Lenz dancing while 29-seconds of "Let's Go Crazy" is on in the background. The video is a home movie shot by his mother, Stephanie, in the family's rural Pennsylvania kitchen.
P.S. Just in case you are slow or stupid or respond without reading this its a satire! Satire = Joke for the real idiots

Its a funny story but prince is right. You just cant take artist's music like that . They work very hard 2 get where they r . people claim 2 b fans and love prince and his music so much they steel his music , If u r a true fan why not support him and buy a CD they do not cost alot. prince puts alot of money, work ,and time into an album.! R u that cheep that u cant buy a CD . THis note is 4 only the people who down load music.

Hilarious parady! :) I heard about that story. It's a shame how far this whole downloading issue has gone. I don't see any harm(or anything illegal)in what the parents did. If they can sue for this, what's to stop things from developing into a situation like what you joked about? The line needs to be drawn somewhere.

how did he know you all were playing his music doen't prince live in a mansion somewhere behind some walls and gates? Is this a rich complex you live in? This sounds odd..unless this is supposed to be satire then i'm an idiot lol!
He has every right to do son, even though I do not agree with it. It is his material and he has the power to choose how he wants his music used. You would think that we could do whatever we want with the music once we purchase it with our own money, but current copyright laws do not let us. Also, illegal downloading is so easy to do that artists are actually losing money. Hell, I am guilty of doing it and not feeling a bit of remorse. I enjoy the artists who understand why they were in music in the first place. That is to make good music and not care about the money.
