Even though I am Caucasian, I do understand the significance of what Dr. Martin Luther King's dreams and passions are about. I respect this man as a human being and as an activist in his time. I feel his time with us on Earth was too short. Even for me, he is an inspiration.

I feel anyone who has compassion for people should learn more about Martin Luther King, Jr. He can inspire us all to become a better person. Feeling inspired by those who have overcome diversities in their lives can help us find out who we are.

Taking a stand to change the way we look and think about people from a different race, culture, and those with handicaps, can help us become at peace with ourselves and others. This isn't what Dr. King was aiming for in his I Have a Dream speech, but by freeing ourselves from the boundaries of segregation of all kinds is what is going to have to change. With the boundaries of segregation of blacks, whites, Indians, Muslims, Hispanics, and all other races, no one race will ever be free of the chains our forefathers have given us.
