After months of waiting for the latest Disney animated fairy tale movie, The Princess and the Frog is set to be released in December 2009. Directed by the guys behind Aladdin and The Little Mermaid and set in exciting 1920's New Orleans, the 2D movie is expected to be as popular, if not more so, than the classic fairy tale movies of the '80s and '90s. If your little girl can hardly wait, give her a sneak peek with these printable Princess and the Frog coloring pages.

What to Do With Your Disney The Princess and the Frog Coloring Pages

Once she's colored her pages, forget simply putting them up on the fridge. Try one of these creative ways to reuse her colored pages.

Make a Border

Laminate the coloring pages and then use them to make a border in her room. Since there aren't many coloring pages to choose from, have her color the same page different colors so that you have enough to create a border. Or mix in other Princess, Prince and Frog coloring pages found HERE. These aren't related to the Disney movie, but they go well with the theme. In addition, they've got great Princess and frog craft ideas.

Make Placemats

Laminate the coloring pages to create placemats. Place the coloring page directly over construction paper or cut out the shapes and arrange them on the construction paper. Glue them to the paper and then laminate. You can also purchase laminating sheets if you don't have a laminator. Laminators start at about $30, laminating sheets at about $5.

Wrapping Paper

Keep her coloring pages to use as wrapping paper for small gifts.

Wall Art

Frame her The Princess and the Frog coloring pages in an 8 x 11 inch frame. Use fabric paint to draw raised designs along the frame. Consider making a massive frame by gluing four Princess pages to a piece of construction paper and then inserting into a large frame. One idea is to use the same coloring page four times, but color her dress a different color in each one.

I mail colored pages to the grand parents so that they can see their coloring improve :) I think it is a fun way to not clutter up my own fridge (I'll clutter theirs up instead). They really like getting mail from the kids too.
