This is the typical indoctrination and fear tactics that have been used for decades now to convince people how important vaccines are. In this case, the young boy with the measles has two brothers, the oldest of which became autistic after receiving a vaccine, so their mother has withheld any further vaccines for her children. On this episode a serious violation of a parents rights was violated when one of the doctors went in and grabbed her other young son and vaccinated him against her will. In the real world, she has a real case against the doctor for assault with a deadly weapon, regardless of what the medical community tells us.
When I was a boy, we did not have the measle vaccine, and all the kids within miles of us got the measles, and all of them survived and as a result now have a life long immunity to the measles. One other thing, there were no autistic children in our small town or in the countryside surrounding us. They try to tell us this is because they did not understand or know how to diagnose autism back then, but I can tell you from having an Autistic child and know of many others around us now, that autism is a very distinctive disorder. We would have known, and would now know and in retrospect be able to identify the problems of children around us back then, but there simply weren't any children around us with the characteristics of autism. If in fact autism did exist but was simply undiagnosed, then where are all the 40-50 year old autistic people who should now be properly diagnosed? They don't exist because before the 1940's the use of vaccines was sparce.
Now, there is another side to the story of vaccines. During the Private Practice pm Vaccines episode, threats of calling Child Protective Services were used as a scare tactic to try to get mom to vaccinate her other child. Does this practice exist? Yes indeed it does. We now live in a small town in the Colorado Rockies, and right here was a family who refused to vaccinate their little girl. With threats of calling CPS on them, out of fear they broke down and accepted the vaccination for their little girl. That little girl had a vaccine reaction and is now paralyzed, probably for life.
Facts are facts, and one fact is, fear tactics are used to scare us into vaccines. The facts are, that more and more doctors are turning from a vaccine policy to a no vaccine policy. Of course where their patients are concerned, they follow the book and ethics of the practice, but many do not vaccinate their own children, and more and more doctors accept a parents refusal to vaccinate. Facts are that vaccines do cause injury, the severe injuries are readily noticeable, but sometimes we cannot see the small effects, and then there are the effects that may occur years later. Childhood Leukemia, brain tumors, and many other cancers are on the rise and have been since the first vaccines were administered, childhood Diabetes, autism spectrum disorders are rampant and nearly all of these were unheard of before vaccines.
The bottom line is, it is the parents responsibility not your doctors, to learn from both sides and make an educated choice. The verdict is not in on vaccines and perhaps by the time a verdict can be made, it might be too late.
Don't fall for the Private Practice ethics on measles because you saw it on TV. Be responsible, do the research yourself. Learn what ingredients are in vaccines and what the dangers of those ingredients are. Ask you doctor if he would willingly inject enough mercury and formaldehyde into his body to require a 600 pound man to be able to disseminate it. The amount being injected into babies is far more proportionally than this. Learn as much as you can and in that learning make the best decision you can. Are vaccines good for you and your baby or are they only good for a trillion dollar industry that controls medical practice guidelines?
I wonder, if TV shows focused on families and episodes of parents vaccinating their children who subsequently suffered serious reactions including death, would our population as a whole have a different perspective on vaccines? Is your knowledge based on research or TV indoctrination.
