Musty Smell in the Room:

• Check for signs of dampness in the walls.
• A damp patch on a mild but wet day indicates structural damage or leakage in the sewerage or water lines and require immediate attention.
• A damp patch on a dry and cold day is most likely to be caused by condensation. It can be solved by providing appropriate ventilation and insulation of the walls. A musty smell in the wardrobe is caused by the same reason and can be solved by better ventilation in the room.
