During content submission:
Bukisa glitch; content does not submit: Occasionally, content submitted shows up in the content folder as a saved draft. The remedy to this glitch is to, when done publishing, check under your "content" tab to make sure every piece is under editorial review. Should a piece be in drafts, I find it best to open Bukisa in a new window and copy and paste all the information to the new window.
Bukisa glitch, article is too short. Always write on a WordPad or document rather than directly into the Bukisa window. Sometimes when resubmitting a draft, only the first paragraph is remembered. Always check your work before you hit submit.
Bukisa glitch, article hasn't been published. Check the content of the article. Bukisa does not accept news or creative writing. If the article does not conform to the type of content Bukisa is seeking, it s likely to languish in the queue for weeks.
Bukisa glitch, it logged me out and my submission page is lost. First, hit the back arrow. That will get you back to the article as it was about to be submitted. Open a new window and log into Bukisa, and then resubmit the same article using copy and paste. The automatic timing out problem can be avoided by logging out and then back in between submitting each article.
Views and payment:
My article has been out a week and only has a couple page views. I have noticed that my views have picked up after the first week. Maybe the search engine indexing takes some time to get established. If a month has gone by and views are still bad, try a different topic and maybe it will get better views.
My article gets twice as many views on Associated Content as it does on Bukisa. Associated Content grants one page view per page read, while on Bukisa you get one view for the entire article. (Although Bukisa pays a higher rate per view, making up the difference.) A three page article on Associated Content should get three times as many views there than on Bukisa.
My content didn't get any views today after doing so good yesterday. Sometimes only half or less of the views show up in the stats. Try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, come back tomorrow. It may show 45 views now but tomorrow the entire 116 views you actually got will show.
My payment tab still says zero and I got qualified views last month. Where is my money? Unlike Associated Content, Bukisa pays a month later. For example, views obtained in July will show up in September as qualified earnings for the next payment cycle. The zero you see in August simply means you weren't making views on Bukisa during June.
Why am I not getting paid the qualified earnings in the payment cycle? Payments are paid once the minimum $10.00 threshold is reached.

Post a CommentNick, Bukisa switched to google adsense jan. 13th so their earnings are zero after that. You will need to set up google adsense (if you haven't already) and check your earnings through google adsense rather than through Bukisa.
Unfortunately, the google adsense earnings have been less than good for my Bukisa content and thus I have focused my efforts elsewhere.
Checked earnings stats and no monies are showing up. Rather the site says technical problems. I'm not a newbie and wonder how many other folks are having some technical probs. so close to time to get paid.

I have found the live Bokisa site does the same thing; very slow. However the Bukisa publishing tool isn't as much of a strain on my computer.
I didn't care for Bukisa, and it kept freezing my computer. Just my 2 cents. good info!
