Disappointed by this I contacted Pampers through an e-mail. I explained to them the situation about the tabs ripping, or coming off completely. Pampers then proceeded to send me coupons for a free box of flex diapers. This was very nice of them to do I think they have great communication and courtesy towards their consumers. In fact, I have always used Pampers and never once had a problem with this brand. I have always found Pampers to be of the highest quality of diapers around. I have tried others and they just aren't as absorbent as the Pampers brand.
So, I go to the grocery store with my coupons and buy a brand new box of Pampers flex diapers. I bring them home, open the box, and take the first one out. I am putting the diaper on my son, I pull the tab over to tape it on, and guess what happens? You guessed it, the tab ripped off again. I continue throughout the box as diapers are needed. The same thing happens over and over again, the tabs keep tearing, or coming off all together. I stopped counting after the 7th diaper was faulty. I couldn't believe it had happened again with a new batch of diapers. This is just so frustrating.
I again wrote to Pampers telling them of the problem with their product. They sent me more coupons for $20 off my next purchase of Pampers diapers. Thankfully, I could buy any brand and not just the flex ones. I bought the normal pampers and didn't have a problem. I will continue to buy the original Pampers as I have never had a problem with this type of diaper. I just wondered if anyone else was having this problem with Pampers flex diapers. I do need to stress however that Pampers are a very good company, the best I know for the production of diapers.

Post a CommentI haven't had these problems with this, but it's nice to know that if I do Pampers will respond favorably! thanks for sharing!
Great piece, Pauline. With our limited finances right now, we use the local supermarket brand (Kroger). The only leak problem we've had with these are once in a while overnight. They have two types and we use the higher end. And the only tab problems we incur are with the boys taking them off. (haha)
Great review! I haven't tried Pampers Flex, but I too prefer the original Pampers Baby Dry. I did an older article on Pampers vs Huggies. :-)
