Product Comparison: E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color Vs. Cover Girl Eye Enhancers

When it comes to searching for the best price in cosmetics I am a frugal shopper. I like to pay as little as possible for the best quality. I like cheap cosmetics, but I do not like them to wear like cheap cosmetics, if you know what I mean. Sometimes when you by makeup, whether it is a big name brand or something no one has ever heard of, you find that it applies funny or the colors just are not right, or maybe you are even allergic to something in their product.

I found a good cheap cosmetic that even beats out Cover Girl ®. I am an eyeshadow girl and I like to blend multiple colors for a smokey, yet appealing look, that brings out my hazel eye color. Normally I use Cover Girl ® eye enhancers, my shades of choice being Bedazzled Biscotti and Swiss Chocolate. Their green tones just were not right for me, so I opted out of drawing my favorite color out of my eyes. I like the way their eye shadow goes on, but in the container it gets old fast and I need something with a longer lasting shelf life and that comes in a more convenient package for me (instead of two or more packages I would like just one).

In this search I found e.l.f. Cosmetics at my local grocery store. Brightening Eye Color in Ivy, which I found in a convenient four shades in one package. It even includes two shades of green that work for me. With their two shades of both green and brown it brings out both of these tones in my eye color and still gives me that smokey eye look that I like. Because of the smaller packaging I can use it up faster and since it is only $1 it does not cost me that much for a replacement package when I run out. Talk about cheap makeup products!
