I don't always like making body scrubs when I am in a hurry, but I don't always like using drugstore brand ones filled with harsh ingredients either. Instead I like to use 100 Percent Pure Cabernet Grape Body Scrub that is made from organic ingredients that are actually nourishing to my sensitive skin, but rough enough to exfoliate the dead layer of skin cells from my body.
The 100 Percent Pure Cabernet Grape Body Scrub comes in a 15 fluid ounce jar with a white cap. The scrub is gritty and oily with a golden color too it and it does have a slightly grape scent to it that is not too strong at all. The body scrub contains organic ingredients that nourish and exfoliate the skin naturally such as sugar cane, herbal and fruit extracts, grape seed oil, pomegranate oil, apricot oil, vitamins, minerals and antioxidant. I love the fact that there are not any harsh ingredients in this body scrub at all so I do not have to worry about my autoimmune disease or sensitive skin flaring up when I go to use it in the shower.
Before using this grape body scrub, I like to get into the shower or a warm bath and soak my skin in warm water for about 5 to 7 minutes. I find when my skin is warm and wet it is easier to exfoliate. Once my skin is warm and wet I like to take a handful of the body scrub and massage and rub it into my skin using little circular motions with my hands too really help scrub the dead flaky skin away from head to toe. Then when I feel like I have exfoliated my skin well I like to rinse my body down with plenty of warm water and wash-up really well with a moisturizing fruit body wash. Then my skin is silky smooth and soft with a bit of a glow too it. I should also warn that the oils in the body scrub do make the shower and tub slippery so be careful when using it.
I would recommend the 100 Percent Pure Cabernet Grape Body Scrub to anyone looking for an organic grape body scrub to use because it affectively exfoliated my skin without being to harsh on it. I will say however, this body scrub is very expensive, but is worth the price. I will keep this body scrub on hand when I am in a hurry and cannot make my own. I hope all of you who try this body scrub like how nourishing and exfoliating it is too your skin as well.
