Product Review: Apple IPod Classic

The Goliath of MP3 Players

Michael Kingsley
Ideally, one should not have to undergo the grueling and stressful routine of picking and choosing which music and videos to load on our MP3 player. We deserve total empowerment over your music and video. No more decisions on what to keep, what to delete. With the introduction of the Apple iPod classic, that stress is a thing of the past. No longer do you have to stress about storage space for your favorite TV show or movie. No longer do you have to browse through your old songs and delete them to make room for new ones. The classic has room for them all, and that only scratches the surface of the benefits.

Empowerment over Your Media

Since the iPod classic comes in two flavors, 80GB and 160GB, you have total control over your songs, movies and television shows. The stress involved in making the choice as to what to keep and what to get rid of is a thing of the past...you can keep it all. Imagine your frustration when you have an episode of your favorite television show stored on your iPod that you've watched only half of, and you have to delete it to make space for the new episode. With the amount of storage now available, you can keep all the episodes, with room for plenty more.

Less Hassle Finding Your Media

One of the biggest improvements of the iPod classic is the navigation. They have made it so simple to find what you are looking for with features like cover flow and the split screen. These features make browsing and managing your music, videos and pictures a simple task. This means you will have less frustration trying to find that hilarious YouTube clip or cool new song that you want to show your friends. Less hassle translates into a better experience while enjoying your media.

Won't Weigh You Down

Another huge improvement the new iPod classic has to offer is its size. It's amazing to think that you can carry around your whole media library in a media player that weighs less than 6 ounces. This means you will have less bulk weighing you down when walking about town or when traveling.

The bottom line is that if you are looking for a media player that is going to be able to store a lot of media, is easy to use, and has a lot of versatility, look no further than the iPod classic.
