I have to admit that I worked for one of the franchises that produced this product. My job was to try and talk people into purchasing an Aquafuzion system by telling them why they needed one in their home. Was I lying to people about the product? It is kind of hard to tell the truth about something that you know nothing about so I just stuck to all the facts that I knew. Yes, I was a salesman and good at my job.
The reason that I had quit working for them was because of the results that I got after having one placed in my home. I will now begin to tell you about my experience with the Aquafuzion home water filtration system.
It sounded great; one double tank would run throughout your home to create an entire home filtration system. It would run pure water in my sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and laundry room. Why would I want a filtration system like this? Because it had promises of making your overall bills lower, or so they had promised.
I was told to expect my gas and water bill to be higher the first month after having it installed. Their excuse was that the Aquafuzion home water filtration system would need time to clear out the pipes with fresh water and it would constantly clean itself for the first month.
The first month my water bill spiked to almost $300 and my gas bill was over $200. I had no choice but to pay these and decided that I would give it another chance.
The filtration system works by cleaning out your water system to create pure water. It cleans itself by using salt like most other water filtration systems.
The second month my bills went down but were still higher than normal. Ya, my bills had dropped slightly and I will admit that I have a large family but this was getting a bit ridiculous.
It wasn't until after I had quit working for them that the problems really started to happen. The Aquafuzion water filtration system was leaking water all down my hallway and into the bedrooms. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so we called the company.
The company said that we must be adding too much salt to the tank. I found this a bit humorous since we had been adding the same amount the entire time.
About two weeks later, we received a notice in the mail from the Aquafuzion Company stating that they have had many complaints about water coming out of the water filtration systems and it was due to a malfunction in the tanks. I had a sigh of relief until I read further; in order to fix the problem, one of their technicians would need to come out and we would have to pay them $100 just for looking at it and more for the part to replace it.
What? I was going to have to pay for something that had malfunctioned in many homes. Now I was in a dilemma, either I could pay to get it fixed and have my home dry once again or I could have the system taken out.
I wanted the system out of my home; it was costing way more than it was worth and damaging my home in the process. To get the system removed, it would cost me another $600 and would need to be done by a license plumber. Most of the plumbing companies had never even messed with this filtration system before and was scared to touch it.
Oh, but wait it gets better; because no other plumbing company would take it out, I would be left with no choice but to call the Aquafuzion water filtration system company and have one of their workers to remove the product.
I was already having a bad day and now I was going to have to pay a company whose product malfunction, to take the product out of the home? What a nightmare.
Do I recommend the Aquafuzion home water filtration system? After reading this article, you should know that I don't.

Post a CommentMy system freezes every winter and no one will take a phone call or respond to help me fix it. So basically, I'm paying for nothing, because it won't work. I even built a shed to house my system to protect it from the cold, but nothing helps. Not only that but I've had the same problem with leaking that this review sites. The customer service from AquaFuzion is none existance. They want money and have no conscious to help the customer or service their system. AVOID ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
aquafuzion is a scam! we purchased from them and they never give everything that we suppose to get it! we tried to call them to resolve the issue but nobody cares! only they care is to sell their product, i don't if that's a real GE product because there's brand name on the equipment! they will tell the amount you're going to pay every month then later on, you will ge a 18% interest from a financing co. who finance your equipement which they will never tell you after the fact. anybody there, can read this comments don't trust aquafuzion! they're fraud!
Had an Aquafuzion rep came by last night for a demo. If this system was only $1200 like the review said I would probably have went for it last night. The product cost over $6,000!! Not including the annual maintenance cost around $240. I do want clean, clear water to run through my house but at this price...will definitely have to think twice about that.
Let me tell you straight as a former Platinum Dealer with GE. Osmonics water purchased a company by the name of Autotrol. They manufactured control valves for water conditioners%2C among other things. Ge later came along and purchased Osmonics%2C putting them in the water business. Anyone who was an Autotrol Platinum Dealer%2Cin good standing%2C inherited the right so long as they qualification to used the GE logo. To qualify they had to sell a GE product as their primary product. Ge was never in partnership with any of these dealers%2C as a matter of fact%2C dealers were specifically prohibited from making any such claims. Ge later sold their water division off to Pentair Water.%0D%0AHope this clears up any confusion.
First off, I work for Aquafuzion and it's not a scam. They are clear from the time they hire you that you have to complete a certain number of qualified demos (48 for the office I work for) each month to get paid. If you don't understand english and thought you could get paid for doing 40, when they specifically said 48, that's your fault. Any sales job requires a tremendous amount of effort and commitment. You're friend, Simone, probably did not have that commitment. It's not Aquafuzion's fault that she decided to quit or did not meet her quota. And to the person who wrote the article, Aquafuzion does not sell a water purification system that treats water in your Entire house for any where near that amount, so you might be confused with another company. And to those who think Aquafuzion made up their partnership with GE...don't you think GE would sue them for using their logo, worth 65 billion dollars, on their products, advertisements, etc.?? And don't you think Aquafuzion wo

this company has no morals. They lie to get people to work for them then string them along for as long as they can. My friend needs money now more than ever because after all the hours she put in she got paid $0. These people seem really nice which is why she believed them as they hyped up the "job" but they stole her time and got free work out of her. If anyone makes money off of this its because they are in on the scam, too. There is also a company called Pinnacle Security Systems which is, oddly, the SAME SCAM - saying that they are part of GE stealing work from people, etc. I wonder what that's all about.

If you google "Auquafuzion scam" you'll find other very similar stories. On the employee side, I have a friend who was about to go under financially because her regular job had cut back her hours due to slow business. She answered the aquafuzion's ad on craig's list and was so happy to get hired to do demos and that she could eventually catch up with her bills. They told her they would set up demos because they had sales people that handled that part. After she started working they told her she had to get the demos herself (while she doesn't get paid for any sales work and gets a bogus commission). They also said the demos would take an hour and they actually took more than two hours. She tried (they requested that they go door-to-door and spend many hours doing this, which they don't get paid for) but there was no way she could meet their quota (if you don't meet their quota, you don't get paid for anything - they want 38-48 demos, but if you are one demo short, they won't pay you).
i totally disagree with steven i am currently a aquafuzion employee and trust me it is a scam and i am going to get out. they tell you its a ge product but it really isnt. Its all in your mind that it works great so get with the program steven.
Aquafuzion does not sell any conditioning system in that price range. They sell a GE product that has a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. If there's a defect with the product, GE addresses it, not the distributor.
