My daughter's pediatrician recommened Aveeno because it is so sensitive on the skin. It is especially sensitive for babies irritable skin. I was impressed with the label on the front that boasted it was made with "natural soy and vitamins C and E." I am always looking for natural alternatives for my daughter.
The spray comes in their signature colors of off white and gold and the container looks very sleek. It cost me just under $9 at Target. Any major chain store such as Wal-Mart or Rite Aid carries the product. I purchased the SPF 45 because I knew we would be spending multiple hours in the sun and wanted the extra coverage.
I decided to go with the spray over the lotion because it is impossible to keep a toddler still. I imagined the spray would be much quicker and easier for me to use. I am very glad I went with the spray. Although it was a little cold on her skin it got the job done in half the time it takes to rub in sunscreen lotion. It also worked upside down and did not become clogged.
The sunscreen was very non-greasy and I couldn't even tell we had sunscreen on. I even sprayed it into my hands to put it on our faces and I couldn't tell it had been on my hands. It smelled so good I have no problem wearing it everyday. It smells nothing like sunscreen and carries a light, sweet scent.
The best part is that my daughter did not break out in a rash and neither one of us got sunburned. I didn't reapply and we spent three hours in the sun with no hint of a sunburn. Everything else was just a bonus. I was a little wary about the price especially since the products didn't work like I thought they would in the past. After trying their continuous protection sunblock spray, I have changed my mind. It was worth the extra money and I will be buying it again for every summer that they continue to make it. So, pick some up and head to the pool to cool down!
