Product Review: Baby Einstein Toys

Niki Hampton
While we were waiting for our son to be born, there was many a time that you could catch us wandering through baby departments fantasizing about the toys he would play with and how smart he would be.

He is now 8 months old and more into tearing my stuff up than playing with any of his toys, he is trying to eat a Relay for Life donation envelope even as I write this. But, there is one series of toys that has captivated him since the beginning, they are Baby Einstein toys.

Now, of course the easy answer is that they are made to entice babies and stimulate brain activity, well sure and that's probably the first reason we started buying them.

My son currently has two of the Baby Einstein favorites, and they are his favorites. Let me tell you about the Caterpillar Ring Rattle. It was his VERY FIRST toy ever. While, he couldn't hold it when he was little, his eyes little up at the sight of it.

Now, eight months later, it looks a little worse for wear, but he still loves it. Plus it's a great size to stuff in the diaper bag or even babies hand to take along. The other Baby Einstein toy he has is specially made for on the go.

The Move & Go Music Mirror is his absolute favorite toy right now! Since sunny days are here again my son and I are out every day on our 2-3 mile walks. He loves to be outside and the Move & Go Mirror straps to the tray of his stroller and keeps him busy.

The Move & Go Mirror can also be attached to the back of a seat in your car to offer fun to a forward facing child or attached to the infant car seat for hours of riding enjoyment for both of you.

With a visor clip remote, you can control the sound and when the toy is on, making it tolerable and battery efficient for parent. Baby Einstein knows what they are doing and is a brand you can trust.

In a world of risqué cartoons and action figures that aren't exactly role models these days, Baby Einstein offers something smart, fun and safe for babies of all development levels. Next time you are looking for something great to entertain your little one, just look for the caterpillar on the toy and you'll know its Baby Einstein.

Baby Einstein toys gets two baby thumbs WAY UP in our house!!!
