Product Review: Bic Soleil Bella Disposable Razor
Thumbs Up for This Affordable Disposable Razor with Flexible Blades
Despite this initial attraction, "pretty" just isn't enough for me when it comes to personal care products. The touted features of four blades, e-z rinse, flex and pivot, and a built-in soothing strip are what cinched the deal, landing the package into my shopping cart.
The first time I used the Bic Soleil Bella was in preparation for a barbecue party (shorts definitely required!) What I first noticed was the comfy grip. The razor has a wide, easy-to-grip handle that doesn't slide out of your hand.
During shaving, I was impressed with the flexibility of the razor. It follows curves with ease without having to change position of the razor. The soothing strip added extra comfort and surprise- no nicks!
The "e-z rinse" held up to its claim, too. No matter what direction I held the razor, it rinses off quickly and thoroughly. (The manufacturer lists that the "e-z rinse technology" allows water to pass through the blades from either side.)
After showering, I was nick-free with a smooth shave. I may not be lying on that Caribbean beach, but I was ready for it.
Each time I've used the Bic Soleil Bella since, it's repeated the great handling and performance (perhaps it's the luxury race car of disposable razors.) I couldn't find a manufacturer suggestion of how many uses the Bic Soleil Bella should provide, but after ten uses the blade and moisture strip on my first Soleil Bella are still in like-new condition, offering a great shave.
The Bic Soleil Bella proved to be a worthy purchase. One I'll be making again!
