The Bissell 3-in-1 stick vacuum can be used in one of three ways.
Floor Vacuum:
Open the Latch at the base of the Hand Vacuum Grip and insert Handle. Once Handle is all the way inserted into the body of the vacuum, press the Latch closed to secure the Handle in place. Attach the Floor Nozzle by inserting it into the opening at the bottom of the Dirt Container. Press firmly to secure in place.

Hand Vacuum:
Release the Latch from the Handle and pull Handle away from the unit. Press the Latch closed.

Multi-Purpose Vacuum:
The Crevice Tool and Floor Nozzle may be used with either the Hand Vacuum or the Floor Vacuum. To use for cleaning in tight spaces, insert the Crevice Tool into the opening at the bottom of the Dirt Container. Press firmly to secure in place. To clean a wider surface, remove the Crevice Tool and attach the Floor Nozzle by inserting it into the opening at the bottom of the Dirt Container. Press firmly to secure in place.

The Bissell 3-in-1 stick vacuum is lightweight and portable. It takes only a few seconds to assemble and you really do not even have to use the directions and no tools are needed. You just slide the handle into the top main section and fit the floor nozzle in the other end. The cord wraps nicely around two hooks and the plug attaches to the cord for nice storage. The Bissell 3-in-1 stick vacuum is bagless. It has a third attachment, which is a crevice tool. This attachment snaps on and off easily. The Bissell 3-in-1 stick vacuum has a filter. Bissell recommends that cleaning the filter after each use and it can be washed and dried.

Maintenance

To remove dirt from the Dirt Container and Filter, hold the vacuum vertically. Depress and hold Latch on top of the vacuum to release the Dirt Container.

Gently pull Dirt Container away from the Hand Vacuum Grip and empty into waste container.

The Dirt Container may be rinsed with warm water and a mild detergent if needed.

The Dirt Container must be thoroughly dried before replacing.

Attach Dirt Container to vacuum by depressing Latch and securely fitting onto Hand Grip.

Make sure Dirt Container is correctly secured.
Overall Opinion
I love it! The Bissell 3-in-1 stick vacuum is a great buy at just under $20. I bought ths specifically to use on my hard wood and tiled floors. It is great for going over your floors before mopping. It picks up everything and it especially does an excellent job of picking up pet hair. The suction is great and you are able to get into tight spaces with this stick vacuum. It is easy to store and does not take up much space. It is very portable and moves from room to room with ease. There are a couple of negatives I found with this product. The first being the length of the cord. It says it is 16 feet but I believe that may be a bit off. Second being that the dirt container is a bit hard to get off and getting the dirt and such out is harder than what I had expected. I would recommend this product to anyone with pets!
