Product Review of the Bodum Chambord Coffee Press
Can the Coffee Press by Bodum Make the Perfect Cup of Java?
Coffee aficionados even spend hundred of dollars in rare coffee beans, water distillers, pricey creams, and expensive makers, in a never-ending quest to reach java nirvana. What a perfect cup of coffee comes down to is three things: water, the beans, and the equipment you use to make the coffee. You can search far and wide for the best beans and coffee making equipment, but sometimes, it is the simple things that produce the best product.
The Chambord Coffee Press by Bodum is a simple coffee maker that incorporates the oldest method known to make a coffee. You measure out about a tablespoon of coarsely ground coffee for each cup and place it into the glass pitcher of the Coffee Press, add the desired amount of boiling water, then let it sit for about four minutes. After four minutes, push in the steel mesh plunger and press the grounds all of the way to the bottom of the pitcher, and pour out a delicious cup of coffee. If you like a little stronger cup of coffee, then add a few more ground beans, or let the coffee brew in the press for a few more minutes before pushing the plunger down.
The finished product will rich cup of coffee. You will find that it is a little thick in its consistency, as some of the finer coffee grains may pass through the fine metal mesh of the Bodum French Press Coffee Maker. The Bodum Chambord Coffee Press makes about 4 cups of coffee. The glass pitcher should not be used on the stove top to boil water.
Bottom Line on the Bodum French Press Coffee Maker
The French Press is cheap. It uses an old school method to make a fine cup of coffee that will start your day off right.
