Body Fortress Whey Protein comes in a large plastic jar. But don't let it fool you, it's only about usually half full. It is based on weight. There is 32 oz of whey protein in every jar, which gives you about 30 one scoop servings. One scoop daily mixed with skim milk is recommended. For those who are serious athletes or bodybuilders are advised to consume 1-2 scoops immediately after exercise. For gaining mass it is also recommended to use 1-2% milk.
I personally love this product due to the "full" feeling I get that lasts me a while before I need to eat again. This product provides me with enough calories and protein I need between meals. Any person who uses an exercise plan can benefit from using this product. Body Fortress states that it can "help support optimal muscle growth and peak conditioning."
What I liked most about this product is that it was inexpensive compared to its compared to its competitors and tastes pretty good. This product seems to mix better than others I have tried in the past.
What disappointed me was the fact that it was higher in cholesterol that I would like it to be. There is 40mg of cholesterol per scoop. This causes me concern as my husband has high cholesterol levels and uses this product as well.
Body Fortress can be purchased at any local Wal-Mart. It is usually located in the Pharmacy section next to the diet products and vitamins.
Overall I think this product is great and do recommend it to others. It adds to your protein intake which is very important especially if you are not getting enough. Protein boots your immune system and helps you recover from illness faster. It also enhances athletic performance, promotes muscle growth, helps control blood glucose levels, is beneficial for weight management and may help in the battle against hypertension.
Body Fortress contains the following ingredients:
Whey Protein Blend, Crestine Monohydrate, Taurine, L-Glutamine, Leucine, Isolevine, Cocoa, natural & artificial flavors, soy, lecithin, Acesulfame potassium & Sucralose.
This product highlights warnings that state it is not recommended for women who are pregnant or nursing. It also states that you must consult with a doctor if taking any medications. If you have kidney disease this product should be avoided entirely. Of course, keep out of reach of children.
