Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is fragrance-free and it is non-comedogenic. It does not strip the skin of its natural protective oils or emollients, and it does not disturb the skin's natural pH balance. It was originally formulated for use by dermatologists, and it contains water, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, and Butylparaben.
Most skin cleansers remove skin's natural protective oils and emollients, which the skin requires to remain soft and supple. In other words, they work too well. But Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser doesn't do that. It cleanses and moisturizes. It removes what your skin does not need and leaves behind what it does. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is specifically formulated for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin.
You can use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser with water or without. If you are using it without water, you will apply a liberal amount of cleanser to the skin and rub gently for a gentle yet thorough cleansing. Then you will remove the excess cleanser with a soft cloth, leaving a thin film of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser on the skin. Afterwards, your skin will feel soft and moist. If you are using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser with water, you will apply the cleanser to the skin and rub gently. Then rinse.
This non-irritating cleanser soothes your skin as it cleanses, and helps your skin retain needed moisture. In addition to your face, you can use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser on your hands and your entire body. Though with a bit of a steep price tag, you may want to keep it to the face. It is so gentle, however, that you can use it on a baby's delicate skin.
If your skin is not dry, I recommend trying Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily Skin. It does not clog pores and it is entirely non-irritating. You can find Cetaphil products online or at drug stores such as CVS and Walgreens. Thanks for reading this product review of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
