When you first apply the moisturizer, you will notice that the moisturizer is of a butter light consistency. It is important that you warm the moisturizer in your hands to begin with so that it becomes a light creamy mixture. When it becomes the right consistency, you can then apply sparingly to your entire eye area by gently, patting it on with your ring finger without applying too much pressure. When you first open the container, it seems as if the moisturizer is like body butter and of a butter consistency; however, after warming the lotion on your hands, you will notice that it is actually a creamy mixture. It's not too greasy and can be easily applied to your eyes. It takes a short while before the lotion absorbs into your eyes, and you can literally see your tired eyes become awake again.
The moisturizer actually has a weird scent to it that will not be appealing to most of the people; however, the product does work. The scent is a bit annoying because it's rather strong, and you can smell it when you apply. While the scent does not linger on for long, you can smell the scent for a couple of minutes after applying the lotion. After those couple of minutes, the scent slowly fades away.
The All About Eyes Rich moisturizer does work though and it does diminish the appearance of eye puffs, darkness and fine lines will moisturizing your eyes, and restoring it to its former glory.
The lotion comes in a cute little container, but the product is a bit expensive compared to some other products on the market. One little container can last you a while considering that there is not a lot of area around your eyes that you can apply the cream to. If you are unsure whether or not the cream may be suitable for you, you may want to stop by at a Clinique counter, and ask for some of the sample of the cream to see how it works for you. You can pick up this cream at basically any Clinique counter.
