Product Review: Dell Inspiron 14R-1181MRB Laptop

Joey Liam

Here is my product review for the Dell Inspiron 14R-1181MRB Laptop, another beautifully designed notebook from Dell. I will highlight the pros and cons of this Inspiron laptop to aid you in determining if it is right for you or not, because the last thing you want to do is to shop for a laptop without knowing anything about it, so I do hope that this review will be of great value for your shopping experience.

Design and Look

The Dell Inspiron 1181MRB Notebook is beautifully designed with its bushed metal like appearance. Its black keys on the keyboard stand out due to the aluminum casing around them and it also sports a black lid that provides a wonderful contrast with its interior. The touch pad is equally attractive with its dark gray motif, so overall the looks of the 1181MRB notebook is worth showcasing to your friends, design wise.

Features

Serving as a main support for the elegant design of this Inspiron notebook are its fast dual-core 2.53-GHz Intel Core i3-M380 processor and its spacious 500GB hard drive. It is also powered by a 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, which allows this notebook to carry as much as 8GB of DDR3 memory. This laptop comes with a built-in Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth and 802.11n Wi-Fi.

Performance

If you are just looking to use this notebook for basic everyday tasks like web browsing, social networking, word processing and video watching, then you won't be disappointed, but if your computing needs are beyond these, it is better for you to invest in different laptops such as Asus U41JF-A1 or Toshiba Satellite E205-S1980. True, these notebooks are a bit more costly than the 1181MRB but they also outperform the latter in every category there is, except perhaps in design and look.

I hope you like my review and happy notebook shopping!
