I ended up getting a poison ivy rash on my face and one of the creams I used to help soothe the itching and rash was the Derma E Stop Itch Instant Relief Cream. The cream was soothing and cooling to the rash and helped relieve the discomfort I was feeling temporarily. In addition, it nourished my infected skin with natural ingredients so the skin did not become scarred.
The itch relief cream comes in this small 2-ounce jar, but it was plenty for me. The cream was smooth, rich and thick with a silky feeling to it. The natural ingredients in the cream are essential oils such as sesame, avocado, apricot, arnica, calendula, primrose, peppermint, tea tree and safflower, vitamins E and A, oat extract and herbal extracts. These natural ingredients are what soothed the itching sensation the rash was causing, but also helped treat and heal the rash up naturally, which I really liked. I liked that there were no harsh ingredients in this cream. I have very sensitive skin and this cream is so gentle.
Now the first thing I did before apply the Derma E Stop Itch Instant Relief Cream to my poison ivy rash I washed the rash with plenty of oatmeal soap and water to help relieve the oozing. Then I took a cotton ball and scooped up some of the cream with it. After I took the cotton ball and dabbed the cream all over the rash. Immediately I started to feel some cooling soothing relief and was very pleased. The cream is not oily, greasy or heavy either so that was nice too. I applied the cream 3 times throughout the day and once before bedtime until the rash was completely healed up. It took about 2 weeks before the rash was almost completely gone.
I would recommend this itch relief cream to anyone looking for a natural way to relief itching due to a poison ivy rash on the face or even body because as I said it worked well for me. However, the cream is expensive, but I felt it was well worth the money since it was one of the only creams that helped relieved my poison ivy discomfort. I wish all of you the best with relieving and treating your poison ivy rash and symptoms naturally.
