Product Review: Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion

Shannon Dee
Do you have oily skin or suffer from acne break outs? Acne can be caused by a wide variety of things some include a lack of sleep, too much stress, improper eating habits, a lack of exercise, and a lack of water intake. All of these things can effect the condition of your skin.

Product Specific Information
Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion can help you reduce that shiny look associated with oily skin. It also provides a matt finished look to your skin. This lotion is very light and does not weigh your skin down or make it feel heavy.

Benefits of the Product
Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion will help keep your skin looking great. Besides the fact that the Oil Control Lotion helps to combat that oily shine it also helps to clear up your skin. Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion will help clear your skin of current blemishes or acne break outs and also will help to keep it clear by fighting break outs before they surface.

My Experience with the Product
I first tried Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion when I went to school for skin care. I was really impressed by how well the product actually worked. A lot of products make big claims but their products can not stand up to those claims. Dermalogica is different, their products are high quality and contain a lot of natural ingredients, which I love.

I used to suffer from acne but I was able to keep my acne under control with the help of Dermalogica's great products, especially their Oil Control Lotion. I used this product two times a day, once in the morning and once in the evening after washing my face. This product will help to clear up existing blemishes fast. I liked this product so much that I used every last drop in the bottle.

Things I Would Change About the Product
I think the only thing I would change about Dermalogica Oil Control Lotion is the price. A two-ounce bottle can cost anywhere from $25 to $38. The two ounces does last a long time though. I think it lasted me around four or five months. Dermalogica products can be a bit on the costly side but they are great quality products so that might make up the difference for some people but if you are on a fixed income then Dermalogica might be a little too costly.
